At reignite, we want to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable regardless of age, gender, background or interests. That’s why we would like to set up some basic rules even before the actual launch of reignite. These also apply to all postings and comments made on other platforms in connection with reignite.

Directive on insults, hatred and incitement to hatred

In general, there are clear guidelines for accounts, profiles, posts and postings related to our community. We at reignite condemn any kind of hate, agitation, violence as well as threats and hostility. Furthermore, anything that in any other way offends against the social sense of decency.

This concerns in particular statements
for the following categories:

Gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, caste, ancestry, ethnicity, national origin, age, disabilities, and serious medical conditions.

The use of hateful images or symbols in your reignite account is strictly prohibited.

In addition, we reserve the right to check profiles on other social channels and will report violations there if necessary.

It is also forbidden to use in the reignite account or profile display names that represent abusive behavior or statements. For example, using terms to express hatred and incitement against a person, group, or protected category.

Sexual Harassment Policy

Sexual harassment is any sexually directed verbal or non-verbal physical conduct that has a negative impact on the person concerned or that violates a person’s dignity or right to physical integrity.

Sexual harassment is a violation of human dignity and a massive impairment of the personal rights of every individual. Last but not least, sexual acts can also constitute criminal offences, which can be reported to the competent authorities. Within the community, intimidation, hostility, humiliation, degradation or insults are strictly prohibited. The offence is deemed to have been committed if there is evidence of clear unilateral and undesirable conduct.

In case of doubt, action is always taken in the interest or for the protection of the affected / injured person.

What is considered sexual harassment?

1. unwanted sexual acts and / or the solicitations of such.

2. remarks of a sexual nature or the unwanted display and visible placement of pornographic images

3. degrading a person on the basis of sexual characteristics / their personality in a broader sense.Therefore, sexual harassment is also to be considered as gender discrimination in principle.

4. any gender can be affected by sexual harassment, but it is predominantly women who are confronted with it. It is agreed that no sexual harassment and no form of (gender) discrimination will be tolerated.

Directive on the protection of minors

People of all ages are welcome on reignite. We know no compromise on child sexual abuse. This is a serious breach of our principles. For the purposes of this Directive, a minor is any person under the age of 18.

Statements, fantasies, profiles, material (media, text, images) and comments that in any way imply abuse of minors or that involve, glorify or victimize child sexual abuse are strictly prohibited. Also prohibited are statements to obtain such materials.

In broader senses, this also applies to addressing, promoting, or normalizing sexual attraction to minors. Furthermore, the personal addressing of minors for advertising purposes is prohibited. The account in question is blocked. Any criminal offences will be reported to the police.

Identity fraud policy

Identity fraud is not allowed on reignite. This specifically relates to reignite accounts that copy another person / organization in a misleading, fraudulent or deceptive nature. These accounts will be permanently blocked after the transaction has been reviewed. All rewards and achievements on the account will be lost.

How can you report violations of our policies?

At this stage we do not have an integrated reporting feature, so please take screenshot(s) of the affected chat history, profile, post, account and send it to us with a short info to our We will check the process and inform you as soon as we have a result. This can usually take 1-3 days.

What are the consequences for violating community guidelines?

A violation of our policies will prompt us to suspend the affected account. Any rewards that were credited to the account will be permanently lost. In addition, we will endeavour to report such posts and profiles on other platforms as well, so that such content, statements or incorrect behaviour no longer find fertile ground. In the event of proven serious violations of these guidelines, we reserve the right to bring these cases to criminal charges.

Log in to your account at reignite with your username and password. If that doesn’t work, visit our password request form and enter the email address you probably used. Then check all your email inboxes – we’ll send password reset instructions to your account email address.

Logging in to reignite with your email address and password didn’t work? If your password does not work or you have forgotten it, you can request a new password at any time. Just enter your email address in our password reset form (“Forgot your password?”) and confirm it – if everything matches, you’ll get an email in your inbox with further instructions. If our system cannot find your email address, you may have entered the wrong address. Read on.

Please also always check all your SPAM / Junk folders in parallel, maybe the email has landed there. If still nothing should have arrived, please write us a message via mail or social media and we will be happy to help you personally. 😊

Security, privacy and
deleting your account

Rights of use for your account and
granting of necessary permissions

1. authorization to use content created and shared by you:

One thing up front: the content you post and share on reignite belongs to you, and nothing in these Terms of Use takes away any rights you may have with respect to content and posts you create. However, under applicable privacy laws and other regulations, such as copyright laws, it is necessary for you to grant us certain legal permissions to use such content in order for us to provide our services. This is especially true if you share, post or upload content protected by intellectual property rights (such as photos or videos) on or in connection with our products.You hereby grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, perform, copy, publicly perform or display, translate and create derivative works from your Content. This license is for the sole purpose of providing you with our product. This means, for example, that when you share a photo in your profile, you give us permission to store, copy, and share it with others (again, consistent with your preferences), including service providers who support our service or other reignite products you use.

You may terminate this license or permission at any time by deleting your content or account. For technical reasons, content that you have deleted may remain as backups for a limited period of time. (However, they will then no longer be visible to other users). In addition, content that you have deleted may continue to appear if you have shared it with others and they have not deleted it.

2. authorization to use your user name, your profile picture
and information about your interactions with reignite content

Your name and profile picture, as well as information about actions you have taken on reignite, may be used alongside or in conjunction with media content, such as videos. Example: We make a short commercial clip about our platform, here your profile shows up in the matching overview and it is clicked to show more details.Data will not be passed on to third parties.

3. restricting the use of our intellectual property

If you use content that is protected by intellectual property rights that we own and make it available in or on our products (for example, images, designs, videos or sounds provided by us that you add to content you create or share on reignite), we retain all rights in that content (but not in your content). You may not use our copyrights or trademarks (or similar marks) except as expressly permitted by our Trademark Usage Policy or with our prior written permission. You must obtain our written permission (or permission under an open source license) to modify, create derivative works from, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from us.

Help! I think my account’s been hacked!

You can’t access your account anymore despite using the correct login data and resetting the password didn’t work either? Then your account could have been hacked.

Please contact our support directly so that we can help you. List the email address you originally used and your personal information. We will then look at the process and see what we can do for you. Please be aware that such processes usually take 1-3 days, as we need to check the complete history of your account from registration to the current day.

What happens with my data at reignite?

We’re like you. Gamers with heart and soul. Especially in this day and age, the protection of personal data is more important than ever. We have a strict policy when it comes to protecting your individual information. Nothing happens without your consent. Can I delete my account with reignite?

Yes, quite uncomplicated. 😊 If you would like your data deleted from our system, please send an email to A team member will send you a confirmation of the deletion as soon as possible. We would appreciate a little feedback on why you are leaving, maybe we can find a solution together.
